Manor Group Investments is a Tauranga Based retirement and property services company.
The company started in 1988 when it acquired Cedar Manor, it’s first resthome. Since then it has owned and operated various retirement care and living businesses, including resthome, hospital and serviced retirement units.
The company was part of the consortium launching Greenwood Park, NZ’s first retirement village. This is one of many firsts for the company. It ran Cedar Manor Estate, NZ’s only community based retirement village, for over 15 years. In 1998 it offered the first serviced apartments available for resthome care level services.
After withdrawing from the residential care sector in 2009 it has renewed it’s focus on retirement living with the development Kempton Park Village in Bethlehem Tauranga. This village is an own your own village where the village will ultimately be owned and operated by the residents.
The company is running and developing three other villages, Waterford on Hobsonville Point, a full service village in Auckland, and two other “Own your Own” villages, Roseland Park in Hamilton East and Woodcroft Estate in Rolleston.
The Group’s retirement villages are developed and managed on behalf of Manor Group by Karaka Pines Villages. Adam Yates, CEO of KPV, has had a 20 year association with Manor Group through his previous role as CEO of Manor Group Investments
